NEVADA GUIDE 15

Nevada Rideshare & Transportation Network Coverage

Nevada rideshare insurance changes with app status. While a driver is logged into the transportation-network platform and available for requests but not otherwise providing transportation services, Nevada requires at least $50,000 bodily injury per person, $100,000 per crash and $25,000 property damage. While the driver is providing transportation services, current NRS 690B.470 requires at least $1 million in primary liability coverage.

  • Preserve app-status, trip, pickup and GPS records.
  • Obtain the driver’s personal policy and the transportation-network policy.
  • Review personal-policy exclusions and rideshare endorsements.
  • Apply the current $1 million transportation-services limit rather than the former $1.5 million amount reduced by Nevada’s 2025 legislation.
