ARKANSAS AUTO INSURANCE GUIDE
Arkansas MedPay/PIP, Medical Liens & Reimbursement
Arkansas auto policies are subject to statutory personal-injury-protection benefit requirements unless validly rejected. Ark. Code § 23-89-202 provides minimum medical and hospital benefits of up to $5,000 per person for reasonable expenses incurred within 24 months after the accident, plus statutory income-disability and accidental-death benefits.
- Confirm whether PIP benefits were accepted or rejected and identify the applicable insured persons.
- Track medical bills, wage-loss proof, benefit payments, denials and remaining limits.
- Review health-plan, provider-lien, subrogation and reimbursement claims before settlement.
- Coordinate PIP/MedPay with liability, UM/UIM and other benefits without duplicating recovery.
