Delaware Uninsured & Underinsured Motorist Coverage
Delaware requires insurers to offer uninsured motorist coverage and additional coverage that includes underinsured motorist protection, subject to statutory rejection and selection rules.
- Obtain declarations, UM/UIM endorsements and any written rejection or lower-limit selection.
- Identify each policy under which the injured person may qualify as an insured.
- Review limits, offsets, settlement, consent and subrogation provisions.
