Claims involving state, county, city, school, police, transit or other public vehicles require separate analysis under Utah’s Governmental Immunity Act, including waiver, immunity, notice, timing and damages limitations.

- Calendar the notice-of-claim deadline and later lawsuit deadlines separately.
- Preserve public records, fleet data, dispatch, video and maintenance evidence.
