Virginia Settlement, Release, UIM Preservation & Subrogation

Virginia provides a distinctive procedure allowing an injured person, in qualifying circumstances, to settle for the tortfeasor’s available liability limits and execute a full release without necessarily prejudicing a UIM claim.
