The insurance card is only one coverage lead

Investigate the driver, owner, household, employer/commercial, rental/TNC, umbrella/excess and self-insurance sources after a Nebraska crash.

First-party and liability coverage belong in the same inventory

Include mandatory UM/UIM, MedPay and other first-party benefits potentially available to injured occupants or household members.

Litigation discovery can identify insurance agreements

Once litigation begins, Nebraska discovery rules permit targeted discovery of qualifying insurance agreements potentially available to satisfy or reimburse a judgment.

Keep a coverage ledger

Record each policy lead, insured, vehicle, coverage part, limit, document received, claimed priority and unresolved issue in a written ledger.
